supporting adults, couples, teens and families

Hi, I’m Christine, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience in mental health.

My therapeutic style is an eclectic blend of classical and holistic modalities, and I personalize my approach to the interests and needs of each client I work with. My background also includes residential care of teens, adults, and elders in addiction recovery and acute psychiatric care.

I have a Masters in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a focus on Human Sexuality and Gestalt psychotherapy, as well as a BA in Multicultural Counseling and Social Justice from The Evergreen State College.

THERAPY CAN SUPPORT WITH DEEP HEALING AND CHANGE

I see therapy as a process of changing how we think and feel about our lives. I enjoy supporting my clients in recognizing and healing from the negative patterns of their lives to create more authentic futures.

INTEGRATING MIND, BODY, SPIRIT, AND RELATIONAL THERAPY

I am trained in numerous types of therapeutic approaches, and draw from Gestalt, Transpersonal, Somatic and Relational Psychoanalysis, and I utilize my background in Social Justice to understand the cultural context in which symptoms are arising. I strive to create a comfortable, accepting and encouraging space, since I believe that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is essential to the work.

SUPPORTING THOSE STRUGGLING WITH ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, TRAUMA AND SEEKING IDENTITY EXPLORATION

I have extensive experience supporting clients who are in crisis; engaging in identity exploration; struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma; as well as individuals who may be in a stable place but want to enrich their daily lives or more fully reach their potential. Therapy is an opportunity to identify the ways in which we are unfulfilled and a place to cultivate the capacity to make more genuine choices.
