My Personal Journey
For most of my life, I have searched for a deeper connection to myself and with others. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and after graduating from UCLA, I worked in finance and real estate and co-founded a tax preparation company. During that time I lived in a constant state of being overwhelmed; meeting deadlines, having little sleep, and sacrificing my time and body to meet my goals. But I knew life had more to offer.
It wasn’t until I took a big leap, followed my heart, and started a Master’s degree program at John F. Kennedy University in Counseling Psychology that I began to put myself first. For the first time I started taking time for myself, maintaining a self-care practice, finding my voice and my power, and listening to my needs AND the needs of my body. For the first time ever my world began to look different.
My personal path towards healing, growth, and transformations has taught me to honor myself and my truths and to finally listen to and learn from my body.
I bring this same commitment to helping you overcome whatever may be getting in the way of having a life you truly desire.
Background and Experience
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Somatic Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and completed Hakomi Professionals Skills Training. My background includes working with a diverse range of individuals and couples in various Bay Area community settings, and I have experience working with children to age 5 and their families.
